What You'll Be Doing

You'll meet with people who've agreed to see a short product presentation and walk them through CUTCO in person. No cold calling, no door-to-door — appointments are set up with warm contacts and referrals.

We provide all the training you need to get started. You don't need any prior experience — just a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

Is this a pyramid scheme or MLM?

No. Vector Marketing is a direct sales company that sells CUTCO cutlery — a real, physical product made in America since 1949. You earn commission on products you personally sell. There is no requirement to recruit others, and you don't earn money from other people's sales. It's a straightforward sales job.

Do I need prior sales experience?

No experience required. All training is provided. We hire for attitude, coachability, and work ethic — not a sales background. Many of our best reps had never sold anything before starting.

How much can I realistically earn?

We pay $24 per qualified appointment or your commission — whichever is higher. That means you always have a floor, and there's no ceiling once you build momentum. Reps who follow the system and put in consistent hours earn significantly more than that base. Your income is a direct reflection of your effort and skill.

Is this year-round or just summer?

We operate year-round. You can work during the school year, summer, or both. Many reps start in the summer and continue part-time during the school year once they've built momentum and a customer base.

Do I need a car?

Yes. Since you'll be running in-home appointments, reliable transportation is needed. Most appointments happen in and around the Amarillo area.

What does the interview look like?

It's a professional, one-hour interview at our office at 2201 Civic Circle, Suite 708, Amarillo, TX 79109. You'll sit down with Stephen or one of our assistant managers, learn about the role in detail, and have plenty of time to ask questions. No resume required — just come as you are.

Is there a management track?

Yes — and it's a real one. High-performing reps who show leadership potential have the opportunity to move into assistant management, branch management, and eventually district management. Stephen built his career exactly this way.
